REAL ESTATE RECRUITING QUESTIONS
Before we begin.
What real estate roles do you recruit?
We support property and portfolio management, accounting and finance, construction and development project management, leasing, legal, compliance and executive leadership searches. Each assignment is scoped around the responsibilities and experience required.
Do you recruit property managers in NYC?
Yes. We support property management recruiting in New York City and the surrounding region, including Westchester, Long Island and New Jersey, as well as searches nationwide.
Can you recruit for national or multi-state portfolios?
Yes. We define the portfolio footprint, travel expectations, work location and regional responsibilities before outreach. Searches can focus on headquarters leadership, regional operations or individual properties.
Do you cover residential and commercial real estate?
Yes. We discuss the property types and relevant experience required, including multifamily, office, retail and mixed portfolios. Direct asset-type experience is evaluated according to the role.
Can you recruit real estate CFOs, controllers and accountants?
Yes. Finance and accounting searches can cover executive leadership through staff-level roles, with attention to multi-entity accounting, property reporting, tax, treasury and the organization’s systems.
Can you help with in-house legal hiring?
Yes. Real estate-related searches include counsel, attorneys, paralegals and legal or compliance leadership. We clarify the required transaction, property and owner/operator experience at kickoff.
How are confidential searches handled?
We agree on a disclosure plan before outreach. The opportunity is described appropriately, candidate interest is discussed before presentation and sensitive information is shared on a need-to-know basis.
How are fees and search timelines determined?
Timing depends on the role, asset experience, compensation, location and candidate market. We agree on a search plan and terms in writing, with retained, engagement-based or contingency options discussed according to scope.
